Gemma Bordes

She lives in Blanes, maybe that’s why her work denotes the influence of the Mediterranean light.

Although she began studying criminology, she soon realised that her passion was drawing, which is why she decided to train as a designer and digital creator. Her work has been transformed into wall vinyl stickers, illustrations for children’s books and magazines, jewellery and more recently silk and cotton scarves.

Gemma discovered her passion was putting smiley faces on objects. This led her to dedicate herself to illustration, a facet that now occupies all of her time.
